This is my Christmas drawing for Christmas 2011. It is very late, considering we are a week into 2012. That is what I get for being sick and in bed! Alright, no more procrastinating in the new year.

Halloween is over! and I drew something creepy cute. I guess I would call it bloody bear. The good news is that Christmas is almost here and I'm super jittery about it. Yay!!
October 31, 2011 Happy Halloween!
Halloween creature says, "Treat!"
October 28, 2011
I am off to the Halloween work party! Poor pumpkins, they live such a short life before being stabbed and made into a delicious pie.
October 25, 2011
Walking into my room tonight, I realized my fish tank really needs to be cleaned as soon as possible. The brown water, the toxic smell, my poor fish. They are still alive though!

May 26, 2011 KABAM! "Kabam gets big financing boost from Google"
Randie Lin works in Kabam's player experience department in the company's Redwood City offices. Today has been a big surprise. I started off the morning by reading about Kabam's big news on Twitter regarding our big finance boost from Google. Very good news. Hours later I would learn that I was in the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper (business section) and online (sfgate.com), with a photograph of me working (and apparently eating so much food), sitting across from my buddy Andrew. Within seconds, I had this link sent to me through multiple chats. I am also happy they spelled my name right :)
This is the picture for the Bloomberg article, featuring Andrew Ton, also diligently working. I like how we matched in terms of clothing, good job there. Too bad the picture is so darn small. Here are two links to the full articles: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2011/05/26/BU1E1JKI72.DTL http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-05-26/google-leads-investment-in-social-networking-game-startup-kabam.html Awesome. Time to party.
May 24, 2011 Our go-to spot, you know who you are :)
May 23, 2011
Something funny: I wondered why my laptop was losing battery for a few hours, and as it turned out, not only was it not plugged in, it was missing the second cord. Unbelievable. Here's to new changes!
May 17, 2011 I wish... I wish...
One of my most favorite artists, Brittney Lee, illustrated a picture book for the Disney movie Tangled. She is an amazing artist, and I love her work very much. As for Tangled, I really love the movie, especially the scene in which the beautiful lanterns were released. I probably have seen the movie hundreds of times, but the lantern scene with Rapunzel and Eugene gets to me everytime.
" And the world has somehow shifted -"I see the Light" song
May 16, 2011 I discovered something watching a car commercial the other day... this orange puppet that I find quite adorable. It looks similar to a character I like to draw most of the time.
May 13, 2011 Go Giants! I did some fast sketching at work. This is exactly how I look like at a game, with an oversized jacket and my panda hat that makes my head super hot. Also, probably standing just like that, completely oblivious to the rest of the world.
April 30, 2011 I am happy to announce the release of another app by Cloudburst Games, LLC! "Talking Nicky in Australia" features amazing animations from Christopher Kelly and Annie Guo.
April 24, 2011 Happy Easter!
February 25, 2011 "Squab" This character design came about as a result of finding the name of this creature on a menu. After seeing it on the menu, I came home and started creating this character. Of course, I added a few extra features.
February 22, 2011 Lemy made it to patchtogether.com! Please vote for him on their website because he's one of a kind :) Click on the image and it will direct you to the page.
February 14, 2011 Happy Valentine's Day! Hugs and kisses... :)
January 31, 2011 Here is the Talking Rabbit, another app released by Cloudburst Games, LLC. This would be my first app that I have worked on all the way through! I worked on the design, props, modeling, texturing and animation. It is another educational apps for little children. Take a look at my animation & projects page!
January 21, 2011 Finally, a little bit of sunshine breaking through the grey clouds. It has been raining for so long, it is time for us to get some brightness. I took a picture of this lone dandelion in my backyard. Blow on it and make a wish.
January 14, 2011 Cloudburst Games, LLC released another app! This one is Talking Nicky Hawaii. She says a few words in Hawaiian, and there is a Hawaiian language and song provided as an extra. I did a few of the animations :)
December 30, 2010 Sailing...my little boat guy.
December 25, 2010 Merry Christmas everyone!!!
November 22, 2010
Cloudburst Games, LLC is a company I have been in contract with for awhile now. They make funny and educational iPhone apps. This is their first app in store: Talking Nicky World Traveler. In this app, she is in Paris, France. Check it out!
July 8, 2010 Today I experimented mixing art with typography. The first one is a banana slug, the second is an Easter bunny, and the last one is a waiter. They were all done using words to create their shapes and design.
June 22, 2010 At zazzle.com, I have created a store to sell some of my art and designs. Check it out at my store page!
May 27, 2010 I have finished my demo reel! Please check it out at my animation & projects tab!
May 10, 2010 Graduation is coming soon! I have added a new piece to my demo reel, a little boy who is going to be in the introduction. My information is going to show up on the screen later. Here is an image testing the shadow puppet effect.
April 6, 2010 I received an elephant rig from my teacher so I was thinking of ways to incorporate him into my reel.
February 19, 2010 I have to start polishing my demo reel! I'm going to work on something new: a spider. Six legs... definitely a challenge for me.
This is going to be the basic layout. I have not finished all the textures for the window and sky. Poor bug...
November 26, 2009 Happy Thanksgiving!
November 19, 2009 "Heart Monster" Today was one of those unproductive days, just sitting around at the computer and clicking on random sites. So instead of working on my short film, I decided to take a day off and just draw. I ended up creating this character that I actually quite enjoy. I especially love all the colors in this piece. The idea behind this piece is that this little creature takes all your broken hearts and mends it whole :) Perhaps I was feeling a little down, so this drawing came forth.
June 25, 2009 Summer lab times...nerding out...half the crew gone... watching the world go by... staring at the pigeons outside the window.
This is Lemy, an average lemon boy with an amazing eyesight.
This is Flimsy, the waiter of the restaurant in my short film. I have not figured out their textures yet.
Here is the environment for my short film, mainly a kitchen and bathroom. I like the wall textures so far, but I may still change some colors around.
May 16, 2009 Ah, nostalgic. Here are a couple of my oil paintings from my high school days. There are more at my traditional art page.
I started experimenting with watercolor and acrylic in college. For my acrylics class, we took our materials from wood and cardboard boxes that were thrown out of the cafeteria. Needless to say, we didn't buy paper all semester long :)
Another tribute to Berkeley days...nothing but coffee and energy drinks to get those pieces of charcoal going...
My favorite sketchbook... it's starting to get so tattered.
"Hi...let's go sketching"
